Wedding photographer in Brittany, France
Based in Quimper. Finistère, Morbihan and all of Brittany.
Weddings told as they happen, between sky, sea and ancient stone.
Married to a Breton, Finistère was a natural choice: I have a second base in Quimper, and a good share of my weddings take place in Brittany – mostly in Finistère, but also in Morbihan, Côtes-d'Armor and Ille-et-Vilaine.
Here, the light changes every ten minutes. A passing shower, a sudden shaft of sunlight, a June evening that never seems to end: I work with all of it, and that's often where the most beautiful images are born.
My way of working stays the same: documentary storytelling, no forced poses. I blend in among your guests and photograph your day as it truly unfolds. How I work
A few frames from a recent wedding.
I've photographed weddings at Domaine de Kerhuel, the Orangerie de Lanniron in Quimper and Château de Moëlien, overlooking the Bay of Douarnenez. I also travel to Brest, Lorient, Vannes, Rennes and all along the coast.
Beach, manor house, traditional longère or village hall: every venue has its own atmosphere, and I adapt to each one. Still choosing your venue? I'm happy to share my thoughts on the light and the flow of the day.
Coverage from the preparations to the end of the drinks reception, a planning meeting, and 400 to 600 images delivered within 21 working days. Evening coverage, albums and a second photographer on request.
Are you really based in Brittany?
Yes – I have a second base in Quimper. I photograph weddings in Brittany every season, alongside those in the Loire Valley.
What if it rains?
Breton weather is part of the charm. I work in rain and shine alike, and dramatic skies often make for the strongest images. We'll simply plan a sheltered Plan B for the group photos.
Are there travel costs in Brittany?
They depend on the distance from Quimper, and are set out clearly in your quote.
Do you also photograph in the Loire Valley?
Yes, it's my main base, near Orléans. I cover the Loiret, Sologne, Touraine, Berry and Eure-et-Loir.
